Jarrod Wachter

Jarrod Wachter has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jarrod started their career at Midwest Electric as an Operations Manager in 2005 before being promoted to VP of Operations in 2007. In this role, they oversaw electric distribution and transmission divisions and played a key role in achieving rapid business growth.

From 2010 to 2016, Wachter worked at Asplundh Construction Corp. as a Region Manager. Jarrod was responsible for managing and growing the regional business unit, ensuring safety compliance, conducting financial analysis, and developing field leadership.

In 2012, Wachter also served as the Chair of the UtiliCon Safety Leadership Team (SLT), where they worked on implementing policies and practices to achieve world-class safety in partnership with corporate safety.

Currently, Wachter is the Chief Operating Officer at AWP Safety, a role they assumed in January 2019. Before that, they served as the Vice President of Field Operations from 2017 to 2018 and a Region Manager from September to December 2016.

Jarrod Wachter attended the University of Dayton from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems.
