Jean-Louis Laforge

Jean-Louis Laforge is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment management, currently serving as Research Technical Director at AXA Investment Managers since January 2000. Laforge has held various key positions at AXA IM, including Managing Director, Head of Fixed Income Solutions, and Global Head of Asset Allocation and Insurance Investments Management. In addition to directing research and portfolio engineering, Laforge has played a significant role in asset allocation services and insurance expertise across multiple international teams. Prior to AXA IM, Laforge held positions at AGF Asset Management, SOCAPI, GAN, and FDK, focusing on fixed income portfolio management and asset allocation. Laforge also contributed to academia as a lecturer at Paris Dauphine University from 2013 to 2018, sharing knowledge on asset management practices. Educational qualifications include a degree in Actuary from CEA and a Master 2 in Applied Mathematics from Université Paris Dauphine.
