Derek Nazareth is a seasoned leader in the financial services and insurance sectors with extensive experience in strategic, operational, and talent management. Currently serving as Head of Global Operations and Country Head AXA XL India at AXA XL since April 2016, Derek has previously held significant roles including Head of Enterprise Shared Services & Country Head India at XL Catlin and Head of Retail and Commercial Markets for the Non-Core Division at the Royal Bank of Scotland. Additionally, Derek's background includes positions such as Executive Vice President & COO at Citizens Bank and Head of Private Banking at Coutts & Co. With a strong foundation in managing large teams and delivering optimal service across global operations, Derek has a proven track record of driving growth and operational efficiency in diverse, high-pressure environments. Educationally, Derek holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physiology and Biochemistry from the University of Southampton and has completed executive leadership programs at Harvard Business School.
