Els Jans

Els Jans possesses extensive experience in human resources and legal affairs, serving as Chief People Officer at AXA from January 2012 to January 2018, where oversight of human resources and facility management was pivotal. Since September 2017, Els has held multiple titles at FOD Justitie SPF Justice, including Head of HR Business Partners and Director of Social Relations, HR Legal & Well-being, while also serving as a social judge at the Labour Court in Brussels, applying legal expertise to the judicial system. Prior experience includes a role as Head of HR Legal and Compliance at ING Belgium from November 1998 to January 2012, and a position as Legal Adviser specializing in Social & Labour Law. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a Post Graduate degree in Social Law from Université libre de Bruxelles.
