Françoise Gilles

Françoise Gilles is the CSDO at AXA Asia & Africa. Françoise has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Françoise started their career as an actuary at ING Insurance in 1998. Françoise then moved to Fortis in 2002, where they were the Market Risk Manager. In 2009, they became the owner of DIAPASON SPRL. Françoise returned to ING in 2009 as the Head of ALM & Capital Management. Françoise left ING in 2013 to join AXA.

After receiving a Master in Actuarial Sciences from the Université catholique de Louvain, Françoise Gilles worked in the insurance industry for a few years before returning to school to get an Applied Mathematics Engineering degree from the Université catholique de Louvain. Françoise then worked in Applied Mathematics and Insurance optimisation before eventually finding their way to the Vlerick Business School.
