Thibault Laugel

Thibault Laugel is a Research Scientist Lead at AXA, where they focus on AI research, including Responsible AI and Machine Learning Interpretability. They are currently pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence at UPMC (LIP6), with a thesis on the interpretability of black-box classifiers. Thibault co-founded the Data Science Game, which organizes an international competition for data science students. Their previous experience includes roles at Deezer, Turo, and Deloitte, as well as a visiting researcher position at Stanford University. Thibault holds a Master’s Degree from Ensae ParisTech and another in Mathematics applied to Vision and Machine Learning from École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay.
