Jun Liao

Jun Liao is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the materials and chemical industries. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and President of APAC at Axalta since July 2021, Liao previously held key leadership roles at Bekaert, including CEO of Specialty Businesses & China and Group Executive Vice President. Prior to Bekaert, Liao was the Global Director of Amines, Guars, and Quats at Solvay, overseeing significant business operations in multiple regions with full P&L responsibility. Liao's career also includes a decade at Dow Corning, where contributions to product development and strategic oversight resulted in substantial revenue growth. An innovator with multiple patents, Liao holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Materials Sciences and Engineering.
