Sylvia Figel

Sylvia Figel has extensive experience in data and operations management. Sylvia currently holds the position of Director of Data & Operations at Axco Insurance Information since September 2021. Previously, they served as the Vice President and Director of Content Operations at FactSet from May 2014 to July 2020. Sylvia also worked as the Director of Data Operations at ZocDoc, where they led the implementation of the company's first offshore operation in India and oversaw the growth of the team. Prior to that, they were the Global Director of Data Operations at S&P Capital IQ, where they directed a large team of researchers and collaborated on operations and content strategy. Before that, Sylvia held various roles at Thomson Financial, including European Research Manager and Consultant in Capital Markets & Private Equity. Their responsibilities included managing teams, developing business plans, and improving data collection processes.

Sylvia Figel completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Muhlenberg College from 1994 to 1998. Sylvia then pursued a Master of Science degree in Development Management at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2002 to 2003.
