Talal Ashraf

Talal Ashraf is a DevOps Engineer at Axelar. Talal has previously worked as a DevOps Lead at Pixlee, a Full Stack Backend Developer at Symantec (previously SurfEasy), and a DevOps Engineer at Flywheel Technologies.

Talal has enhanced the ability to deploy the entire software stack on various client's infrastructure to allow them to secure their data within their infrastructure. Talal has also helped the team adapt modern DevOps practices. At Pixlee, Talal led the efforts to mature the infrastructure and architecture while helping the team adopt modern DevOps practices.

At Symantec, Talal worked on a Ruby on Rails/Golang platform that serves as a backend to clients on iOS, Android, Windows and Mac. Talal used cutting edge technologies to scale a network of thousands of servers and an ever increasing user base. Talal had a strict DevOps mentality with their team and led efforts to find optimizations and telemetry to improve quality of service. Talal also helped integrate with Symantec's systems post acquisition. Talal played the role of Product Owner and planned out the future of the platform with the team.

Talal Ashraf received a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto. Prior to that, they completed their O and A Levels Cambridge International Examinations in Pre-Engineering at Beaconhouse School System.
