Marco Barbato

Marco Barbato has over 20 years of professional experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Industrial IoT. Marco began their career in 2001 as a Field Application Engineer at Advantech Europe B.V., where they were promoted to Senior Field Application Engineer South Europe, European Project Manager iServices, and Project Manager. In 2016, they joined AAEON Europe as AI & IOT Product Development Director and Director of Product Sales Management and Technical Department. In 2019, they were appointed Product Development Director at UP ! Bridge the gap. In 2020, they moved to Bitfury as Director of AI Integrated Systems and in 2021 they were named Director of AI Integrated Systems & Co-founder at Axelera AI.

Marco Barbato completed a Complete Training on Project Management at PMU Foundation - R.E.P. Project Management Institute in 2010. In 2006, they completed a MS Embedded OS Master Training at Advantech. From 1996 to 2001, they studied Telecommunications and Electronic at ITIS Marconi. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn, Coursera, and freeCodeCamp in 2020, 2019, and null, respectively.
