Dr. Cristy Cross, DIA

Dr. Cristy Cross, DIA has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and information security. Dr. Cristy has worked as an ACAS Vulnerability and Scanning Analyst at ECS in 2019, an IA Privacy Analyst Sr/Eng Scientist at Telos Corporation in 2020 and an Information System Security Engineer at Joint Tactics and Technologies from 2020-2021. Dr. Cristy also worked as a Cyber Security Engineer Senior at Cambridge International Systems Inc. from 2021-2022 and a Cybersecurity Engineer at CommIT Enterprises, Inc. in 2022. Dr. Cristy joined Vickers Nolan Enterprises (VNE) as a Cyber Security Engineer from Nov 2022 to Jan 2023 and Scientific Research Corporation as a Cyber Security Engineer from Jan-Apr 2023. Currently, they are working as an Adjunct Professor at Bellevue University since Aug 2019 and will join Axellio Inc. as a Security Engineer from April 2023.

Dr. Cristy Cross, DIA has an impressive education history. Dr. Cristy obtained an associate's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from the Community College of the Air Force in 2009. Later, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Herzing University in 2015. Dr. Cristy further continued their education and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Software Engineering from Penn State University in 2018. Recently, in 2022, they earned a Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Information Security and a Doctor of Information Assurance degree focused on Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the University of Fairfax. Additionally, Dr. Cross holds several certifications, including LFS101x: Introduction to Linux, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Social and Behavioral Research for DIA Program, Certified Scrum Master, CompTIA Security+, and Electronic Security Systems Administrator from the United States Air Force.
