Jérôme Laurent is a seasoned professional in marine resource management and applied research, having worked for nearly 16 years within the CCTT network, particularly at Merinov, where they served as an industrial researcher and project manager. They previously held a position as a researcher-professor at Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles, focusing on technology transfer projects for the fishing industry. Since late 2023, Jérôme has been the Regional Director for Southern Quebec at Axelys, where they contribute to maximizing the societal impact of innovative research outcomes from public research centers. Jérôme holds a Master’s degree in Marine Resource Management from the Université du Québec à Rimouski and a DEUG in Life Sciences from the Université de Rennes I.
