Terry Chapman has extensive experience in the IT industry, spanning over two decades. Terry started their career in 2000 as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at SD Group. Terry then worked as a Senior Security, Infrastructure, and Communications Engineer at Alexander Mann Group and ISC Technologies. In 2002, they became the IT Manager at Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery. After that, Terry worked as a Principal Consultant at Siemens Business Services and AMR Consultants. In 2005, they joined Fujitsu New Zealand Ltd as a Principal Consultant, where they provided consultancy, architecture design, and technical leadership. Terry also founded Fusionworks, a company that offered IT services such as web development, security, and troubleshooting. Terry served as the Managing Director of Fusionworks until 2009. From 2010 to 2016, Terry worked at Microsoft, initially as an Architect in the New Zealand office and later as part of the Worldwide Public Sector Center of Excellence. Terry then became the Principal Service Delivery Manager before leaving to become the Managing Director of Axenic Ltd. At Axenic, Terry leads a team that provides security advice and assistance to both public and private sector clients, helping them manage and protect their information assets.
