Amol Nerkar

Amol Nerkar has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Amol started their career at UOP in 2009 as a Development Engineer, working with the Hydroprocessing-Renewables group and having various plant and written responsibilities. Amol then progressed to the role of Technical & Chief Technical Advisor, where they provided expertise and guidance to the team. In 2015, they became a Process Specialist - Aromatics, focusing on evaluating and optimizing the operations of UOP licensed Aromatics Complex Units. Amol also worked closely with engineering in designing these units and participated in HAZOP meetings. Amol joined Axens in 2019 as a Technical Services Engineer, and is currently serving as the Lead Technology Engineer since January 2022.

Amol Nerkar obtained a BTech in Chemical Engineering from North Maharashtra University from 2003 to 2007. Amol then pursued an MChemEngg in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai from 2007 to 2009. Amol also holds a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt.
