Rory Hanratty

Rory Hanratty is currently the CTO at Axial3D. Prior to that, they were a Product Manager at Government Digital Service from January 2016 to December 2016. Rory was responsible for setting direction for the platform, prioritising delivery of functionality based on researched user needs, working with the technical team to prioritise non functional aspects of the platform, including availability and security and ensuring that they had a continuous integration and deployment approach from the start, aiming for the ability to update the platform with zero downtime for end user applications. In addition to product management, they were also responsible for customer engagement and education (as PaaS is only now becoming widely adopted). Other duties involved working with the Delivery Manager Urmi Shah to ensure operational readiness, in terms of support arrangements and rota's.

Rory Hanratty completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a DIP Industrial Studies at Ulster University.
