Brian Bechard Msc

Brian Bechard MSc, CISSP has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles within the field of information technology. Brian currently serves as the Director of Information Security at Wayspring, where they are responsible for building and maturing the company's information security efforts. Brian is also the Director of IT & Infrastructure, overseeing all hardware and software systems to support the organization's needs.

Prior to their current role, Brian served as the VP of Information Systems and Technology at ALLIED MANAGED PROCESSES, LLC. In this position, they managed IT operations, including system infrastructure, help desk, data security, compliance, and client support.

Before joining ALLIED MANAGED PROCESSES, LLC, Brian worked as a vCIO/Special Projects Manager at Core10, where they provided tactical and strategic planning, technical consulting, and staff management for multiple IT departments. Brian also worked as a CIO at Avenue Bank (now Pinnacle Financial Partners), where they developed and implemented enterprise-wide information technology systems and infrastructure.

Additionally, Brian has experience as a Project Consultant/Project Manager at W Squared, where they worked with various firms to architect and deploy network and IT security designs. Brian also has experience as a Senior Vice President of Enterprise Technology at First Horizon National (First Tennessee), where they managed a technical team and oversaw infrastructure, hardware, software, networking, and IT support services.

Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated their expertise in security awareness, system infrastructure, hardware and software systems management, and strategic planning.

Brian Bechard MSc, CISSP holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Rivier University. Brian also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Brian furthered their education by completing the Pocket M.B.A. for the CIO program at Boston University. In addition to their academic achievements, Brian holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². Brian also has a certification in IT Information Library Foundations from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
