Attracted by the opportunity to partner with a talented team working to solve the nation’s opioid epidemic, Carter joined axialHealthcare as CEO in 2019. An experienced healthcare executive, Carter has spent his entire career in health services and IT working for and with companies that challenge the status quo and strive to improve health outcomes while eliminating waste in the healthcare system. Prior to axialHealthcare, Carter co-founded and served as President & COO of naviHealth, a Nashville-based care transitions and post-acute management business.
He received his B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
