Jason Winchester

Director, IT & Infrastructure at axialHealthcare

Jason Winchester has extensive work experience in the field of IT and infrastructure. Jason is currently working as the Director of IT & Infrastructure at Wayspring since July 2023. Prior to this, Jason held the position of Executive Director of IT at the General Council on Finance and Administration of The United Methodist Church from November 2019 to June 2023.

Before that, they worked at AdhereHealth, LLC from January 2019 to November 2019, where they served as the Director of Infrastructure. In this role, they were responsible for managing IT operations and engineering teams, leading projects to improve IT services and support, and overseeing projects such as Office 365 Exchange migration and migration to a leading cloud provider.

From March 2016 to December 2018, Jason worked as the Manager of Enterprise Systems at AdhereHealth, LLC. Jason was in charge of planning, provisioning, maintaining, and securing all employee endpoints, servers, and networking equipment. Jason also managed communications software and equipment and ensured proper documentation of IT assets.

Prior to that, they served as the Infrastructure Team Lead at AdhereHealth, LLC from October 2014 to March 2016. In this role, they led weekly status meetings, acted as the primary point of contact between executive leadership and the infrastructure team, and managed recruitment for new staff.

Jason Winchester began their career as a Windows System Administrator at AdhereHealth, LLC in May 2014 and worked in that role until October 2014. Additionally, they worked as a Network Engineer at LBMC Technologies from July 2013 to May 2014, where they managed servers, workstations, and network infrastructure for external clients.

Earlier in their career, Jason worked at NASBA as a System Administrator from April 2013 to July 2013, where they were responsible for various Windows Server roles and system services. Jason also served as a Helpdesk Administrator at NASBA from July 2008 to April 2013, providing help desk support and resolving technical problems for internal and external customers.

Jason Winchester attended Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 1997 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Management. In 2019, they also obtained certifications in ITIL® Foundation CPD from AXELOS Global Best Practice and IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from the same institution.
