Michelle Arbogast has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michelle started their career as a Residential Counseling Intern at Oasis Center in 2003. Michelle then worked as a Lead Teacher at The Gardner School from 2004 to 2006. In 2007, they transitioned to the role of a Fraud Investigator at Kroll - Fraud Solutions, where they worked until 2011. Concurrently, they also served as a Practicum Therapist at Vanderbilt University - Psychological and Counseling Center from 2009 to 2010. From 2011 to 2015, Michelle worked at Centerstone, where they held roles such as Mobile Therapist and Mobile Therapy Program Manager. In 2016, they joined The Renfrew Center as an Admissions Coordinator/Therapist. Michelle then moved on to Promises Behavioral Health in 2017, where they held various positions, including Coordinator of Appeals and Utilization Review, National Appeals and Clinical Documentation Specialist, and Regional Executive Director of Utilization Review. Michelle's most recent position is as the Clinical Education Manager at Wayspring, which they began in 2021. Michelle has now progressed to the role of Director of Education and Training at the same company.
Michelle Arbogast received their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Professional Counseling from Argosy University Atlanta in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington in 2004. Michelle has also obtained a certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health Service Provider in 2016.
