Andy Butcher

Andy Butcher has extensive experience in sales and business development within the technology industry. Starting in 1996, they worked as a Sales Representative at carrera Technology before becoming a Sales Manager. Andy then moved on to Advantage Communications, where they held a sales role. In 1999, they joined Pervasive Networks as an Account Manager, excelling in project and solution sales. At Scalable Networks, from 2002 to 2005, Andy was a Sales Consultant responsible for opening new opportunities and bringing emerging technologies to market. Andy joined Matrix Communications Ltd in 2005 as a Sales Consultant, closing over £4.5 million in business during their successful tenure. Andy continued to excel as a Sales Manager at Matrix Communications, where their creativity in developing solutions and spotting key business opportunities was highly regarded. From 2008 to 2009, they served as the Head of Service Development at Calyx Managed Services, focusing on developing and expanding service portfolios. At Data Integration, Andy managed a team of Junior Account Managers and played a key role in their growth strategy. Andy then joined Extreme Networks as a Direct Touch Account Manager, where they effectively communicated the value of operating systems to Higher Education clients. Currently, Andy Butcher works at Axians UK, starting as a Sales Manager for Enterprise and later becoming the General Manager of the Public Sector Business Unit. In 2023, they were promoted to Business Development Director.

Andy Butcher received a Master of Arts degree in Sales Management from the University of Portsmouth, where they studied from 2017 to 2018. Prior to this, they attended BETHS from 1977 to 1982, but the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
