Esther Chang

Esther Chang is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in the taxation sector, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Group Tax at Axiata Group Berhad since August 2010. In this role, Esther oversees all taxation aspects for both local and international entities within the organization, focusing on commercial objectives alongside compliance and advisory responsibilities. Prior to Axiata, Esther held the position of Head of Taxation at Astro All Asia Networks Plc from May 2005 to July 2010, and worked as a Managing Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Taxation Services Sdn Bhd from 1990 to 2005. Esther's educational background includes a Higher School Certificate from Tuanku Abdul Rahman College and a secondary education from Sekolah Menengah Zainab.
