Sandra Brown

Sandra Brown, Ph.D., JD, has extensive legal experience in various roles across multiple organizations. At Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Sandra served as In-House Counsel from February 2010 to January 2012. Following that, Sandra was a Senior Counsel at Cooley LLP after moving from Foley & Lardner LLP from January 2012 until November 2014. Sandra then worked as Special Counsel at McCarter & English, LLP from November 2014 to May 2016 and served as VP of Legal Affairs & IP at Akili Interactive Labs, Inc. from May 2016 to June 2019. Sandra held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Nexthink from May 2019 to May 2020 and then became Associate General Counsel and Acting Director of the Office of Intellectual Property Optimization at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from June 2020 to August 2021. Since March 2018, Sandra has been a member of The L Suite (TechGC), and currently serves as Deputy General Counsel at SoftBank Robotics America and Axim Collaborative, with an additional role as Chief starting in February 2024.
