Erin McCormick

Erin McCormick has over 25 years of experience in the geospatial industry. Erin began their career in 1996 as a Geologic Scientist at Terra Environmental, followed by an internship at the Southwest Florida Water Management District. In 1997, they joined NV5 Geospatial as a Project Manager for Federal Programs and a Remote Sensing Specialist for the National Wetlands Inventory. In 2005, they returned to Navigation Electronics Inc. as a Mapping and GIS Account Manager, where they assisted in implementing an asset management and GIS data collection strategy with Trimble and Esri GNSS solutions and software. In 2008, they became an Account Executive at NV5 Geospatial and was able to procure the State of North Carolina Floodplain Mapping Program, generating sales of over $5M in two years in a new, un-established territory. In 2011, they moved on to GPI / Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. as a Business Development Manager, with responsibility for all facets of Business Development for Aerial Cartographics of America. In 2014, they joined The Sidwell Company as an Account Executive for Enterprise GIS Solutions, working with County level Property Appraisers in the Southeastern United States and Municipal governments organizations. In 2016, they moved to Leica Geosystems as a Regional Sales Manager for Mapping and GIS. Her current position is Enterprise Account Executive at Axim Geospatial, which they began in 2022.

Erin McCormick received their Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Geology from the University of Rhode Island between 1993 and 1996.
