Shawn Hipsher

Shawn Hipsher has worked in the geospatial field since 2008. Shawn began their career as a GIS Internship, GIS Technician, and GIS Analyst at the Delaware County Office of Geographic Information. In 2009, they moved to the City of South Bend to take the role of Senior GIS Specialist. In this role, they managed water, wastewater, stormwater, and fiber geospatial data; created digital mapping and data products; evaluated data and processes; developed web maps; utilized Esri ArcGIS Server; and trained non-technical staff on the use of GIS technologies. In 2012, they joined Hexagon US Federal as a Geospatial Specialist, Geospatial Analyst/Engineer V, and Geospatial Analyst/Engineer IV. In 2022, they moved to Axim Geospatial as a Solutions Engineer (Federal).

Shawn Hipsher received a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Processing and Mapping (GIS, Cartography, Remote Sensing) from Ball State University. In February 2016, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce certification from CompTIA.
