Matthew Murphy

Matthew Murphy is a partner at Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider LLP, where Matthew has practiced in the Intellectual Property Practice Group since September 2009. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a research scientist at Respironics / Phillips from April 2005 to May 2008, focusing on the development of chemical sensors and optical technologies for monitoring respiratory gases. Additionally, Matthew worked as a research scientist at Prevalere Life Sciences from January 2002 to April 2005, contributing to the design of analytical methods for evaluating drug substances and products. Educationally, Matthew earned a J.D. in Intellectual Property from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2009 and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Connecticut in 2001.
