Akshay Sarma

Akshay Sarma has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Akshay is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Axio since April 2021. Prior to this, they held various positions at Capital Float, starting as a Manager of Capital Markets in October 2015, then progressing to Senior Manager and eventually Vice President of Capital Markets until April 2021. Akshay also worked as an Investment Associate at SyndicateRoom for a brief period in 2015. In addition, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Madanyu Social Enterprise from February 2015 to June 2015. In 2015, they also worked as a Consultant at Cosmos Green, providing strategic recommendations to optimize the organization's governance structure and supply chain in India. Before that, they worked at Deutsche Bank, first as an Analyst and Trader's Assistant from November 2007 to February 2010, and then as an Associate in Rates Structuring from June 2010 to June 2011. Akshay later became an Assistant Vice President and Trader, responsible for market making and executing asset-financing transactions in India from July 2011 to December 2013.

Akshay Sarma completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Cambridge Judge Business School in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a MSc degree in Investment Management from Bayes Business School in 2007. Akshay'sundergraduate education includes a B.Com degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai, which was completed between 2003 and 2006. Additionally, Akshay attended Gitanjali, however, no specific degree is mentioned for this educational experience.
