Sonam Jalan

Sonam Jalan has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Associate at HSBC Investment Banking from May 2008 to November 2013, where they gained extensive experience in domestic and cross-border M&A, fundraising, and ECM deals. Sonam then joined Allegro Capital Advisors as Vice President from November 2014 to May 2015. Sonam further expanded their expertise by working as Business Head - Tours & Packages at Travelyaari.com from June 2015 to January 2017. Currently, they hold the position of AVP - Management at axio since February 2017, and they recently assumed the role of VP - Strategy & Corporate Development in April 2021.

Sonam Jalan completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on General Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in the years 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics (Hons.) from Shri Ram College of Commerce from 2003 to 2006. Sonam's earlier education was at Mayo College Girls' School from 1994 to 2003.
