Maryam Safarshahi

Maryam Safarshahi is an experienced geophysicist and educator with a strong background in geophysics and seismology. Currently serving as the Digitizer Team Leader at Axiom Exploration Group since January 2023, Maryam previously held various roles at the University of Saskatchewan, including Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant for multiple geology courses, as well as Museum Outreach Leader at the Museum of Natural Sciences. Prior experience includes positions as a Geophysicist at Sand Gradation Company and Arya Sazeh Sarpol-e-Zahab company, along with a tenure as a Sessional Lecturer at Islamic Azad University of Kermanshah. Maryam holds a PhD in Geophysics and Seismology from the University of Saskatchewan and an MS in Geophysics with a focus on Earthquake Seismology from the University of Tehran.
