Young Kim

Young Kim has a strong work experience in the finance and investment industry, with expertise in emerging markets. Young currently holds the position of Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Emerging Markets at Axiom Investors since 2021. Previously, they worked at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, US for 10 years as a Senior Portfolio Manager for Emerging Markets. Prior to that, they held positions such as Senior VP at Marathon Asset Management, Vice President at 360ip, and VP/Senior Analyst at Global Tech Hedge Fund. Young also has experience in the technology sector, having worked as Director of Business Development and Senior Engineer at LocationLabs and as a Software Engineer and Consultant at Bluefire Systems, Inc.

Young Kim received a BA in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1999. Young then pursued further education and obtained an M.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT in 2000. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they attended Harvard Business School, earning an MBA.
