Catherine Kemnitz

Catherine Kemnitz is the current Chief Legal Officer at Axiom. Catherine has held this position since November 2013. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Strategic Integration and Development at Thomson Reuters Legal from November 2010 to November 2013, where they led the cross-functional integration of Practical Law. Catherine has also worked as an Associate in the Capital Markets Group at Shearman & Sterling LLP from January 1999 to December 2002 and again from January 2005 to December 2010. Catherine Kemnitz founded their own company, J. de S., Inc., in January 2002 and ran it until December 2005.

Catherine Kemnitz completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporation Law from New York University School of Law. Catherine then went on to earn a Master in Corporate and Commercial Law and Taxation from Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II). Catherine is also certified by the New York State Bar Association in Admitted to the New York Bar.

Their manager is David McVeigh, CEO. Catherine Kemnitz works with Chris Cho - Chief Product Officer, Sloane Googin - CFO, and Eric Carter - Chief People Officer.
