John Grogan has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. John started their career as the Information Technology Coordinator at the Center for Career Services at Columbia University, where they played a crucial role in implementing information technology throughout the organization's business processes and online service offerings. John then worked as a Systems Programmer in the Academic Information Systems R&D Group, developing web services and completing phases of funded digital libraries projects. John later became the Director of Information Technology at the Center for Career Services, where they managed transitions in leadership, redefined the center's strategic vision, and restructured service delivery. After that, they served as the Executive Director of CCIT at Columbia University, leading a solutions-oriented IT team and managing information security efforts. John then moved on to Sungard Higher Education (now Ellucian), where they worked as the CIO, managing IT services outsourcing for a client university. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Information Technology at Axiom, a global innovation company, where they focus on driving innovation in the legal field and managing enterprise applications.
