Clive Johnson

Clive Johnson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the marine technology and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Non Executive Chairman and Investor at Axiom Product Development Ltd since May 2018, Clive has also held key positions such as CEO at VITA Yachts, leading the development of electric powertrains and powerboats, and as Non Executive Director at High Value Manufacturing Catapult, facilitating collaboration in advanced technologies. Previous roles include Technology Specialist at RS Electric Boats, where innovative electric propulsion systems were created, and CEO Executive Director at RAD Propulsion, launching advanced electric marine propulsion technologies. Clive's entrepreneurial background includes founding Magma Structures and Tacktick by Suunto, as well as co-founding Essence of Strength Ltd. Clive holds an MBA from The Open University and an HND in Mechanical Engineering from Farnborough Technical College.
