Alexis M. Dejarnette

Alexis M. DeJarnette is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as the Public Affairs Officer at Axiom Space, where responsibilities include leading communications for human spaceflight since March 2022. Prior experience encompasses key roles in the United States Senate, including Communications Director, Deputy Communications Director, and Press Secretary from January 2019 to October 2022. Additional positions include Press Assistant and Staff Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives from January 2017 to December 2018, as well as an Assembly Aide with the Florida House of Representatives in early 2016. Alexis M. DeJarnette was also recognized as Miss Pensacola in 2016. Educational credentials include pursuing a Master of Science in Corporate Communications & Public Relations from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Florida State University, where achievement included being on the University Dean's List. Currently, enrollment at Harvard Business School Online is underway, with completion expected in June 2024.
