Andrew Hernandez III

Andrew Hernandez III is a Senior Thermal Engineer at Axiom Space, where responsibilities include developing comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs) for long-term contracts and overseeing the development and procurement of flight hardware. Prior experience includes serving as a Physics Teacher at Spring High School and an Assistant Store Manager at Sherwin-Williams, where Andrew led a team and managed store operations. Andrew's academic background consists of a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler, as well as a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston. Notable research work includes improving HVAC systems in collaboration with TRANE engineers while serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Tyler.
