John Talbert

John Talbert is an experienced manufacturing engineer with a strong background in aerospace and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as a Manufacturing Engineer, SME (Principal) at Axiom Space since October 2022, John Talbert is responsible for creating design for manufacturing programs and serves as the Responsible Engineer and Scrum Master for spacecraft manufacturing facilities and precision cleaning labs. Previously, John Talbert worked at NASA in collaboration with MRI Technologies to support space exploration, and held various roles in manufacturing engineering at North West Rubber and Texas Precision Metalcraft, where John Talbert led multiple plant expansion projects. Early career experience includes a role as a Tool and Die Machinist at Modine Manufacturing Company. John Talbert holds a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Pittsburg State University and an Associate of Science in Machine Tool Technology from Hutchinson Community College.
