Kelly Reid

Kelly Reid is a skilled engineer with a strong background in aerospace and astronautical engineering. Currently serving as a Space Suit Hardware Engineer at Axiom Space since October 2021, Kelly's prior experience includes a role as a Propulsion Engineering Intern with Axiom Space during the summer of 2021. Kelly's engineering capabilities were further developed at USC Liquid Propulsion Laboratory as a Feed System Test Engineer in 2020 and at SSL as a Harness Design Engineer and Unit Mechanical Design Engineer from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, Kelly has experience in software testing and research, having worked as a Software Test Engineer at SSL and as a Research Associate at NASA Ames Research Center. In leadership roles, Kelly has served as Vice President of Tau Beta Pi and as a mentor in the Sophomore Surge Mentor Program at San Diego State University. Kelly holds a Master of Science in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from San Diego State University.
