As Chief Strategy Officer Mark Vela provides strategic development and direction to aXiomatic’s portfolio, advising its Board and CEO on the selection, evaluation and prioritization of investment opportunities. Mark is a gaming industry veteran who has seven years of experience within the Mobile & Console gaming ecosystem. He most recently led Games Merchandising Strategy on Google Play for the Americas region where he oversaw record-breaking growth for the games business. Prior to that he served as Director of Strategy, Operations & Product Management at Activision where he designed and built out a profitable Mobile gaming division.
Mark’s previous experience outside gaming included strategy consulting with Bain & Company for various media & entertainment clients and sales and marketing for Procter & Gamble.
Mark received a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
