Sean Garrett

Sean Garrett is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles. As the Founder and Convener of Mixing Board since June 2020, Sean Garrett has cultivated a community for brand communications leaders to share knowledge and expertise. Currently serving as Chief Communications Officer at Axios HQ since November 2024, Sean Garrett previously co-founded the Pramana Collective, which enhanced communication functions for various organizations from February 2013 to January 2021. Additionally, Sean Garrett served as an Advisor in the Executive Office of the President from January 2015 to November 2016, where expertise was leveraged to transform digital communications strategies. Prior consulting work included collaboration with Greylock Partners and startups while conceptualizing the Pramana initiative. Sean Garrett holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from UCLA.
