Brandon Matthews

Brandon Matthews has extensive work experience in talent acquisition and management. Brandon is currently serving as the Associate Director of People Systems & Talent Acquisition at Axios. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate Director of Talent Acquisition at Axios as well.

Before joining Axios, Brandon worked as the Talent & Culture Manager at The Martin Agency. Brandon also worked as a Talent Manager at Tech Talent & Strategy.

Brandon has experience in community engagement and advocacy, having held roles such as Engagement Coordinator and Community Engagement Specialist at the Brain Injury Association of Virginia, and Inclusive Advocacy & Leadership Development Coordinator at the North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities.

Brandon also has experience in recruitment and marketing, having worked as the Director of Recruitment at Advocations and as a Marketing Consultant at a mental health agency/non-profit organization.

Brandon's work experience dates back to 2011 when they served as the Public Relations Director for the Student Alumni Association at Johnson & Wales University.

Brandon Matthews earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing from Johnson & Wales University between 2009 and 2013.
