Jimmy Owens

Jimmy Owens has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Jimmy is currently the Chief Strategy Officer & Chief of Staff at Axiota Animal Health since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the VP of US Dairy and International Operations at the same company from January 2021 to January 2022, and as the VP of Strategy, Operations, and Finance from January 2020 to January 2021.

Before joining Axiota Animal Health, Owens worked at Native Microbials, Inc., where they held the position of Chief Operating Officer from July 2018 to January 2020. Jimmy also served as the VP of Product Launch & Corporate Strategy from June 2017 to June 2018.

Owens gained valuable experience at Elanco, where they held multiple roles. Jimmy was the Senior Director, Productivity & Business Transformation from January 2017 to February 2017, the Director, District Sales Manager from March 2016 to December 2016, the Director, Chief of Staff from September 2014 to March 2016, and they also worked as an Advisor, Global Strategy & Operations from July 2013 to September 2014.

Earlier in their career, Owens worked at Eli Lilly and Company, where they held various financial roles. Jimmy was a Consultant in Global Treasury from June 2012 to July 2013. Jimmy was also a Senior Financial Analyst, Strategic Planning from January 2010 to June 2010, and a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Financial Planning from May 2008 to January 2010. Owens began their career at Eli Lilly and Company as a Financial Analyst in Managed Health Care Services from July 2006 to May 2008.

During their career, Owens also had a summer internship at Anheuser-Busch InBev, where they worked as a Summer Associate, Treasury & Business Development from June 2011 to August 2011. Jimmy also gained early experience as a Finance Intern at M Financial Group in 2005.

Jimmy Owens completed their high school education at Jesuit High School in Portland, Oregon from 1998 to 2002. Jimmy then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wabash College, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Later, Jimmy attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business, specializing in General Management, and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree between 2010 and 2012.
