Mike Wright

Mike Wright has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Mike is currently working as the Vice President of Sales & Business Development at Axip Energy Services, LP since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Sales & Account Management at the same company from October 2020 to November 2021.

Before joining Axip Energy Services, LP, Mike had an extensive career at Weatherford starting in 2002. Their roles at Weatherford included being the Global Product Line Manager for Rod Lift Subsurface from January 2016 to April 2020. Mike also served as the Country Operations Manager in Oman, where they managed all product lines and acted as an Executive Account Manager for major NOC and IOC's operating in Oman. Additionally, they held positions such as Production & Completion Manager, Artificial Lift Optimization Manager for the Eastern Hemisphere, and LiftAdvisor Service Product Line Manager.

Earlier in their career, Mike worked as the North America Software Sales Manager, Eastern US District Manager, and in Technical Sales and Marketing roles, all focusing on production optimization. Their responsibilities included sales growth for real-time and engineering software solutions in the US and Canada, as well as providing leadership and support for artificial lift automation and optimization products and services.

Mike Wright graduated from Texas A&M University in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering. Mike obtained additional certifications in Finance and Accounting from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business in May 2022, and in Leadership Development Program from Texas A&M University - Mays Business School in October 2018.
