Elaine Palome

Elaine Palome has a strong background in human resources management, with a focus on talent acquisition and employee engagement. Elaine started their career as a Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Executive Search Consultant at Positions, Inc from 1990 to 1999. Elaine then worked as a Consultant and Director of Employment at ArQule from 2001 to 2005. Elaine then moved on to NxStage Medical, where they served as the Head of Human Resources from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they worked as the Head of Human Resources at Charles River Analytics from 2010 to 2014. From 2015 to 2015, Elaine worked as a Talent Acquisition Consultant at Flexion Therapeutics and Hunt Alternatives. Their most recent role was at Axis Communications, where they held various positions such as Director of Human Resources, North and Central America from 2016 to 2019, and currently serves as the Regional Head of Human Resources for the Americas. In this role, they oversee human capital management activities for the US, Canada, and Latin America, and contributes to the growth and employee engagement strategy for the region.

Elaine Palome earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Microbiology, General from the University of New Hampshire from 1979 to 1983. Elaine then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Northeastern University from 1983 to 1987. Prior to their university education, they completed the College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program at Jefferson Township High School from 1975 to 1979. In addition, Elaine obtained a certification as a SHRM-SCP from SHRM in April 2018.
