Steve Sarchet has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to business development, sales, and engineering. Steve is currently the Business Development Manager at Axis Automation, where they focus on developing and producing high volume industrial automation systems for various industries. Prior to this, they worked at JR Automation Technologies for 19 years as a Senior Account Manager and Technical Sales professional, where they were responsible for managing strategic accounts and driving new business growth. Before that, they worked as a Sales Engineer at American Metal & Plastics, serving OEMs like General Motors and Ford in the automotive and appliance industries. Earlier in their career, Steve worked as a Test Engineer at General Motors, managing dynomometer facilities and conducting engine component validation programs. Steve also worked as an Automotive Test Engineer at Ford Motor Company, specializing in proving ground and extreme usage validation for Ford F150 Truck Programs.

Steve Sarchet has a diverse education history. Steve attended Hemlock High School from 1984 to 1987, where they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Following this, they pursued pre-engineering at Alma College from 1987 to 1989. During this period, they did not declare a field of study or earn a degree. Finally, Steve attended Michigan Technological University from 1990 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Additionally, in August 2015, Steve achieved a certification in Miller Heimann Strategic and Conceptual Sales Training, although the institution issuing this certification is unknown.
