Jason Pacheco

Jason Pacheco has extensive experience in financial crime intelligence and fraud management, currently serving as Sr. Vice President for Financial Crime Intelligence at Axis Bank since May 2021. Prior to this role, Jason held leadership positions at Vodafone Idea Limited and Vodafone India Limited, overseeing investigations and fraud management from September 2018 to April 2021 and September 2009 to September 2018, respectively. Earlier in the career, Jason worked at Barclays Bank PLC as Head of Transaction Fraud and at ICICI Bank Limited as Head of Risk Analytics, where responsibilities included managing a large team focused on transaction monitoring, fraud investigations, and anti-money laundering efforts. Jason began the career at Tata Finance Limited as Executive - Credit & Fraud Risk Manager. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Accountancy degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a BCOM from Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics.
