Praveen Khandelwal

Praveen Khandelwal is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in the banking and finance sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Data Engineering for Retail Banking at Axis Bank since September 2011, Praveen has held multiple senior roles including Vice President for both the Business Intelligence Unit and Information Technology. Prior to Axis Bank, Praveen worked at HDFC Bank from 2007 to 2011 as a Team Leader in DataMart design and implementation, contributing to Business Intelligence solutions for Retail Assets. Additionally, Praveen began a career at LIC Housing Finance Ltd. from 2001 to 2007, where work included various IT roles across different locations. Praveen holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia, obtained between 1996 and 2000.
