Alexander Norton

Alexander Norton has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Alexander is currently employed as the VP of Finance at AXIS Capital since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at EY as a Financial Management Manager, leading multiple transformation projects in the P&C insurance sector from 2017 to 2019. Before that, Alexander was an AVP Program Director at AIG's Transformation Services, where they managed projects to simplify the organization and reduce costs significantly from 2015 to 2016. Alexander also took a global sabbatical from 2013 to 2015, during which they traveled the world. Alexander has prior experience at KPMG UK and KPMG US, where they held various roles such as Principal Advisor, Manager, and Executive Advisor. Alexander gained in-depth knowledge of the insurance market and led finance transformation programs. Alexander started their career at BDO Stoy Hayward as an Executive and also worked as an Audit Junior at Littlejohn Frazer. Alexander is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Alexander Norton completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Bristol from 1993 to 1996. Alexander further pursued their education at ICAEW from 1997 to 2000 and obtained a Chartered Accountant degree.
