David Foley

David Foley has extensive experience in data platforms, analytics, and financial systems, currently serving as Head of Data Platforms & Transformation at AXIS Capital since November 2013. Previous roles at AXIS included leadership positions in data and analytics transformation and business engagement across finance and risk. Before joining AXIS, David was a Director at BIDW Solutions Limited, focusing on enterprise performance management and business intelligence. David’s earlier experience includes significant consulting roles in Hyperion and business intelligence for organizations such as Paddy Power Betfair, ICON plc, and Northdoor plc. David began a career in technology as a Business Analyst at Vodafone Ireland and has a foundational background in software development from previous positions at The Bromley Group and Unique World. David holds a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from Dublin City University and a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Science from Trinity College Dublin.
