Julia Depalermo

Julia DePalermo currently serves as the IT Business & Training Lead and previously as the IT Business & Training Analyst at AXIS Capital since May 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Pre-K-3 Special Education Teacher at HOMER A PLESSY COMMUNITY SCHOOL, where management of approximately 15 IEP cases and instruction of six students in various settings occurred from July 2018 to May 2021. Julia also contributed as a Teach For America Corps Member from 2017 to August 2020, and held several roles including General Student Employee at Union Street Market and Outreach Intern with Connecticut Democrats. Julia's early engagement in political campaigns included work as a Campaign Intern for Larson For Congress. Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Foreign Language from the University of Connecticut, obtained in 2017.
