Michelle Bergsma

Michelle Bergsma, CPA, ARe, has a robust professional background in accounting with extensive experience at various esteemed organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Corporate Accountant at AXIS Capital since September 2019, Michelle previously held the position of Senior Associate at PwC Bermuda from January 2017 to August 2019 and worked as an Accountant at Crowe MacKay LLP from January 2012 to December 2016. Michelle began a career in project coordination at Outside the Cube from May 2010 to August 2011. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph, a Diploma in Accounting from The University of British Columbia, and completion of the CPA Professional Education Program among other certifications. Michelle also holds the Associate in Reinsurance designation earned from The Institutes Risk and Insurance Knowledge Group in 2018.
