Tara Sapru

Tara Sapru is a seasoned legal and insurance professional with extensive experience in cyber and technology E&O insurance. Currently serving as the Global Product Leader at AXIS Capital since May 2019, Tara leads the development of insurance products while leveraging legal expertise to enhance underwriting capabilities and support business growth. Prior to this role, Tara held various positions at AIG from 2006 to 2019, including Senior Product Leader for US Cyber and Technology E&O and Assistant General Counsel, where responsibilities included advising on strategic initiatives and managing complex legal matters within risk management divisions. Earlier experience includes roles at Sedgwick LLP and De Vos & Company, PLLC, focusing on litigation and commercial lawsuits. Tara holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature from The University of Texas at Austin.
